Accommodation
in the Rental Chateau
|
|
We
pride ourselves on providing a completely private service
here at
chateau
lagorce, hence each of the bedrooms below are en-suite. Apart
from your guests, the only people on site are
myself
(owner / Estate manager) and my wife Anna. To learn a little
more about our roles please go to the services page. Chateau Lagorce is
a rental
chateau set in 29 hectares, so there are no neighbours to
intrude on your
privacy. The floor plan shown on the Map
page shows how
the HUGE 1000m squared rental area is distributed.
The 21 Air conditioned
en-suite bedrooms:
We
have renovated each of the 21 bedrooms ourselves so the chateau has
profited with an excellent water pressure throughout, independent hot
water
systems for each bedroom, along with a towel heater and a
shaver point. New for 2010 we have fitted LG Cool Art air conditioning
units in every bedroom (photos to follow shortly),
available at a local cost, for those summers of over 30 degrees. Lg
Cool Art offer airconditioning solutions for companies like ourselves
that do not want a standard interior block unit, instead the units are
hidden in a picture. We have planned in advance, so that all external
units are hidden from view, so as not to distract from the beauty / age
of the external fetures of the chateau.
When
renovating the chateau we did not knock through a lot of walls, so
although some bedrooms are larger than others, you still have the charm
of the original chateau.
Please
find below the essential information about all of
the bedrooms, for those people not used to the European sizes of bed, a
3/4 bed is in between a single and double, as well as all the beds
listed below we do have one extra single that can be comfortably made
