Hostellerie Robinson is located in Quinsac, just ten minutes drive from the chateau, along the D10 Direction Bordeaux. I think the best way to describe this family run restaurant as is the best you can get in the area, without being a Michelin starred restaurant. And with evening menu’s starting from 27.50 euros it is definitely good value for money. One very very important factor is that the can easily cope with groups of 20 plus, and everyone is always very welcoming there.
This restaurant is “au Bord de la Garonne”, hence has a nice terraced area for summer dining. I’m not going to go into the menu too much as I hate to build restaurants up, but with all menu’s one is served amuse bouches, and the chef Robert Pina uses fresh local produce, which usually helps! Robert Pina himself is a tall French chef with a French moustache, it is clear to see he has been applying his trade all his life, and looking at how many clients he has EVERY time we go he is very successful.
